New Release Process
We’ve been giving thought to changing our release process a little bit. We realize that some of our users like to always use the latest-and-greatest build even if it has some instabilities. On the other hand, some people prefer a stable build which just works even if it doesn’t have the latest and greatest feature set.
Changes
Starting from the next update (559), we will be introducing a way for users to control which line of development they want to follow:
- Stable
- Bleeding Edge
The difference between the two would be in the feature / stability tradeoff. Stable would have less features but will be more robust while Bleeding Edge will have all the newest features with possibly some bugs.
